FAQs

A few quick answers to common questions, so you feel confident caring for your pet.

How do I book an appointment?

The fastest way is to book online: choose your clinic (Bothasig or Monte Vista), your pet, the service, and a time that suits you, then confirm your details. You can also call either clinic if you'd prefer to speak to a person. Bookings come with free cancellation and no credit card is required.

Do I need an appointment, or can I just walk in?

If it is an emergency come straight in, do not wait for an appointment. We recommend booking so your pet can be seen with minimal waiting and we can prepare for their visit, unless your pet suddenly becomes unwell then come straight in.

What should I do in an after-hours emergency?

Call our emergency number immediately on 083 683 6550. Our after-hours support service will guide you and arrange for you to be seen at our Monte Vista clinic if needed. After hours emergency call out carries an additional call out fee.

Which pets do you treat?

Our primary focus is dogs and cats, and all our facilities and wellness plans are built around them. In some cases we can also help with small pets like rabbits, hamsters and rats - please call reception to check with the vet on duty.

What are your consulting hours at Bothasig and Monte Vista?

Both clinics are open Monday to Saturday, with slightly different closing times at each branch, and Monte Vista offers limited emergency consulting on Sundays and public holidays. For the most up-to-date hours, please check our Contact page or give us a call.
